Not sure what to say?

Alonzo, I can not believe that it has been fifteen years since you left us to be with Our Lord. It seems like only yesterday that we were partying at UIUC in the IRS multi purpose room! I will always love and miss you my brother, my dearest of friend. ❤

Dear Family & Friends,

I, like so many others, share in mourning your lost. It speaks well of a person when your only memories of him are happy ones, and that is certainly the case with Nicky. I can only remember his fun-loving spirit and how much life he brought to our high school years. With memories like these he will always be honored. God Bless You.

Dear MS. Bea, Dorinda, & Johnathon,

My heartfelt symphathy to the family for the loss of a great son, a loving husband & a caring dad.

Nick was a loyal friend & we shared plenty in our days at the U OF I., up to this time. While Nick's journey has ended, take comfort in the fact that he meant so much to so many people. A testament to the love he gave.

Quietly, he would encourage each of us to move forward.

Love Always,
Vince Wilkes (Meechy Ratt)

MY DEEPEST SYMPATHIES TO NICK's FAMILY. I WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER HIS JOVIAL PERSONALITY, AND LAUGHTER THAT MADE HIS EYES DISAPPEAR. HIS SPIRIT WAS AND IS SO PENETRATING. WORDS CAN NOT EXPRESS HOW MUCH I WILL MISS HIM. BLESSINGS TO ALL!

TO THE FAMILY OF ALONZO CONNER:

NICK WAS ALWAYS THE GENTLE GIANT AT THE UNIVERSITY OF ILLINOIS. THE MANY HAPPY TIMES WE ALL SHARED WITH NICK WILL NEVER BE FORGOTTEN. GOD BLESS HIS FAMILY.

Dorinda,

My heart and prayers go out to you and your family. May God comfort you and keep you in His care as only He can. I pray His peace upon your heart in the days ahead.

Dear Conner Family:
My prayers are with you in the transition of Nick from this life to the next life. I met him at U. of I. when I was a freshman and he was a senoir, showing me the ropes. He was a good man. Hopefully, I'll make it to heavan and Nick again can show me the ropes. May God continue to bless you.

Dear Conner Family :
As one of his basketball coaches at the University of Illinois I remember Nick fondly for his outstanding play as well as his warm personality and great sense of humor. I am deeply saddened by the news of his passing.
Sincerely,
