I send my deepest sympathy to the family and friends of Alonzo Dennis. He was one of my students years ago. He had a beautiful spirit, always protective of family members and friends. He was a very talented drummer. I remember when he performed at Booker T. Washington with the Sankofa group. I was so proud that he was someone I taught and knew. There are no words to full express how sad I feel about your loss. He will be remembered. May he rest peacefully...
