It was with a great sense of loss that I learned of your father's transition. While there is nothing I can say that will ease your loss, I wanted you to know that "Mr. Alonzo" was one of a kind and I am blessed to have known him. Keith and I looked forward to seeing him whenever we came to Norfolk for a visit. "Mr. Alonzo" was a true gentleman - kind, warm-hearted, witty, and a skillful card player. His distinctive laugh still resonates with me. I hope that the passage of time will help...

It has been a great pleasure knowing Mr. Alonzo all these years..He brought a lot of jokes, laughs and fun whenever he entered the room with his distinctive laugh. No card game will ever be the same.
