Not sure what to say?

Joanie was my dearest and closest friend when we lived in Denver back in the 70's. I have such great memories of us hangin out at the discos. Even though its been over 40 plus years since I've seen her, I still can't believe she is gone. I do think of her often and miss her. The last time I saw her was on her wedding day in Chicago. She was as gorgeous as ever. The photo below is of us celebrating my 25th birthday in September 1976 at a disco in Denver.

I will always remember Joan from our years at St. Pat's... I was one year ahead of Joan's class, in Marguerite's class, and will always cherish many happy times together.

May Joan rest in peace. My thoughts and prayers are with the Alpert/Bransfield family.

Dearest Joanie, To a Great Lady and friend..We go way back to our 20'S simply having so many good times over the years. I was very saddened and shocked when your life was taken way too soon. What a SPECIAL and UNIQUE Person you were..with the Biggest and most Giving Heart. A BEAUTIFUL Person Inside and Out. Your BRIGHT LIGHT will be truly missed by all. There will Never be another Joanie (or as my children called you Aunt GoGO) So with great saddness, I say goodbye to a friend. I Love you...

Joanie was movie star beautiful. Nobody was more fun. I am deeply saddened to learn of her death. The blazing light that was Joanie leaves a terrible void for all those who loved her. My deepest sympathy to Harvey and her children and all her friends and family.

Dear Joanie, I am so greatful to have known you and have you be part of my life. You were and angel on earth and you will continue to be an angel in heaven. You were and amazing mom to your kids and it showed every time. I wish i could have given you one more hug and say thank you Joanie, you were a cool and hip mom with a heart of gold!! You will be missed. Love Lilac

My deepest sympathies to the Bransfield & Alpert family.
I was in St. Patrick in Joanie's class from the 8th grade until our graduation in 1970. Unfortunately, that was the last time I saw her.
I will always remember her radiant smile, her fun
spirit and the beautiful person she was inside and out.
Joanie's life may have ended on this earth, but it has only just begun.
