Not sure what to say?

As my sister Lucia said, we saw each other so infrequently over the years mostly due in part because of the distance that we lived apart, but I too will remember his jokes and his laughter. I will remember the day I came and got the piano from Mama and Papa's house and all Uncle Zammy did was tell jokes and direct the piano movers. (they almost lost the piano on the steep stairs). Even though we have seen each other infrequently over the years, I will always remember Uncle Guido's jokes and laughter, and the care he took of my car at at his garage. And, of course as a fellow Yankee fan! Arriverdeci Zio! Lucia (nee Zampini), Chris, Kate, Bill and Beth

I was so sorry to hear of Zam's passing. I used to get my papers for my paper route in front of his station on Eddy Street back in the 1950's. I remember listening to the ballgames sitting in his office drinking sodas that were always available and cold on warm summer days. Being a Red Sox fan I had many an argument with him and Cheech. I AM VERY SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS. I HAVE MANY FOND MEMORIES OF WHICH I WILL CHERISH FOR THE REST OF MY YEARS. IN THE EARLY FIFTYS I WORKED FOR ZAM PART TIME.IT WAS MORE OF A PLEASURE THAN WORK. I ENJOYED HIS HUMOR AND LOOKED FORWARD TO GOING TO WORK.I FELT VERY BAD WHEN HE CLOSED THE STATION.I WILL MISS HIM BUT LIKE YOU I HAVE MANY MANY GOOD MEMORIES.DEEPEST SYMPATHY TO ALL,

Uncle Guido, may you find peace in the arms of the angels. You were a sweet man that I have had the pleasure of knowing. May your family find comfort in knowing the tranquility you now share with others in heaven, Lots of love, Linda, Eddie, and Allison
