Not sure what to say?

My condolences to doc's family. I wasn't as fortunate to have known Dr. DePaolo earlier in life. But I'm appreciative of the time I did know him. He said very simply to me "continue being the kind nurse you are".
Thank you
Dr. DePaolo

Dr. De Paola was my mother, Joyce Stone, colleague at General Electric Co. In Newark, family doctor and later friend.
She would tell the story that when he did her hernia operation when I as a child, "if I don't wake up from this, you have two more daughters" She woke up!
Rest well Dr. DePaola job well done!

I apologize--my condolences to Toni also!

To Laura, Diana & Freddy & your families: I am so very sorry for the loss of your Dad. I will always remember him fondly when I think about "the Short Hills" years. I remember the red carpeting & massive desk in his office at your home. He was a tireless professional and proud Dad who could look out from that home office & catch a glimpse of us kids, playing in the backyard or watching "Lady" running around. He was a noble man, a great Dad & a heck of a nice guy! That's how I will...

Dr. Alphonse De Paola, a wonderful, caring, compassionate Dr. You will always be cherished in our hearts for the great care provided to our family.

Our thoughts & prayers are with you all. Dr. De Paola was mine & my younger brother's doctor since the age of 6 as well as my daughter's doctor. I can still picture him with his glasses lopsided & his white coat a mess after trying to give me a needle as a child. He made house calls even after others stopped doing so. He was a wonderful man & physician who will be missed by many.

The Marino Family

I am so sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. All my love.

Deepest condolences to the De Paola family May the God of comfort be with you in this time of sorrow.

I am forever grateful to the doctor, father to my friends and employer of my mother, Loretta, his nurse and assistant for many years. I will ponder writing a book or two covering the years of Doctor D's amazing selflessness, house calls, rescuing people from unpredictable circumstances and never asking for compensation. He truly embraced life, loved his family and was always a dedicated professional and friend. God Bless Him and keep him safe.
