Not sure what to say?

Dear dear Alphonse, you were so funny, charming, and generous - and great company during our Saturday nights of "Cine y Cena" during the Covid lockdown. I was totally impressed when you were willing to get on the phone to order pizza for us, with your very few words of Spanish - but no fear! Somehow your charm always worked. :) I am still using the coffee maker you gifted me and I think of you when I do so. You will always be a part of the Mérida scene, dear Alphonse.

Hope you became the nice blade of grass you said

Alphonse was such a fun guy and will be greatly missed. We used to ride our motorcycles together and never really had a destination as the journey was the most fun.

I´ve chatted with Fonse most when he was serious and thoughtful, so I remember him most as a brilliant and caring man. What a loss!

Alphonse was an amazing teacher and mentor. He pushed my abilities as an artist and furniture maker. He will truly be missed yet he will continue to inspired a whole generation of artist and furniture makers. Thank you for everything, William Rhodes

Alfonse and I were friends at Roman Catholic HS. He was a funny and honest person. RIP Alfonse. Michael

I don´t believe I had the opportunity to meet Alphonse but I was always a great admirer of his amazing work. RIP Paula Levine

When I saw a beautiful piece at the Carnegie Museum of Art I was stunned. Humble man to say the least. Gregarious, curious and interested is how I will...
