I was more than saddened by the passing of Alphonso (Brother, as you and I called him all those many years ago.) It has been many years since we had seen each other, but he had sent me a message to call him via a friend only a week prior to his passing. To the Crittendon family,
I cannot tell you how shocked and saddened I was to hear of Alphonso passing on. I had not spoken to him in a while, but I was aware of his great work in his ministry. I have fond memories of Alphonso during our days at John Marshall High School. He will be missed. May God continue to afford you strength and comfort during this dificult time. God Bless!
