Not sure what to say?

My name is Edmond Chu. I only know Alphonse´s for a very short time in 1965 to 1966 in New method College. He was very friendly and one time he invited me to his home to teach me how to dance,I danced one time with his younger sister. This experience I have always remembered and treasured. That lead me to look him up and unfortunately I discovered this. I am happy that he had a great career and a great family. I wish I could have talk to him . I am practicing medicine in Anaheim California.

I am a past student of Wah Yan College Hong Kong. When I was in school running our school newspaper, The Starlet, as a Chief Editor back in 1986, I was doing research on the history of the Starlet and realised that Dr. Hui was the first Chairman of The Starlet who founded the school newspaper in 1965 when he was in Form 5. Unfortunately there is no record found of how our first school newspaper looked like. Recently Wah Yan College has celebrated its 100th birthday and I have started to...

I just found this afternoon. My heartfelt condolences, I have know Dr. Hui for 20 years. I am lost for words and I don't know what to do in terms of finding another family doctor.

I have only just heard the sad news of Dr Hui's passing

I was fortunate to have "inherited" Dr Hui as my family doctor when he took over Dr Lewchucks practice on West Broadway, and followed him when he moved to Oakridge

He was a man without ego, kind, and caring. It never bothered me if I was kept waiting for an appointment, because I knew that if he was late, it was only because he was giving another patient the extra time that he had often given to me. He listened, and was...

We were Dr. Hui patients since he took over from Dr. Lewchuck when he retired on W. Broadway, we're so sad and shocked about his sudden death, we will miss him. Our sincere sympathy to all the family.

Dr. Hui was my family's physician for over 30 years. Not only was he a kind and understanding doctor, he was also a wonderful person. My condolences to his family and friends. You will forever be missed, Dr. Hui.

Dear Mrs. Hui,

My 102-year old mother, Stella, was a patient of your husband's. She has been housebound for many years. Your husband was such a kind, dedicated and compassionate physician, he came several times to my mother's house to visit her. He had just come by on Nov. 11th to see her. When I spoke with him and said that was a holiday, he told me that was a good day for him to come because he was only doing paperwork and not seeing patients. As both my sister and I don't live...

To the family of Dr Hui you have my condolences. Me and my dad, Avtar Gill, were one of your first patients and remained so til the end. We have not only lost our doctor but a friend and confidant. God bless.

Our sincere condolences to the Hui family, especially Josephine, Monique and Creighton. May loving memories help guide you through this time of sorrow.
He will be greatly missed and also by both the Canadian and Chinese community.
