THE TIDE

The tide recedes, but leaves behind
bright seashells on the sand.
The sun goes down, but gentle warmth
still lingers on the land.
The music stops, yet echoes on
in sweet, soulful refrains.
For every joy that passes,

Alta leaves behind so many precious memories with all of us. I will always be thankful that I got to know her as a friend. Until I see her again,

Dearest friends in honor of Alta and Keith, virtuous people. Nobody claims perfection, but, they were pretty close. I remember waiting on a consultation for tearing down a porch that had been infested with bees from my friends the Casdorphs. They told me to be careful, but, these were not very aggressive. Well! Thank you for understanding God's remarkable creation. Thank you for helping me to not get stung. And, I look forward to seeing you again someday. May Jesus be yours forever. -Don,...

My parents, Agnes and Bill Theobald were lifetime friends of Keith and Alta. They were also from Rutland, Ohio and Alta played in my father's band many years ago in Rutland. They were also members of Indianola Church of Christ. I have many fond memories of Alta and Keith

Anita & Family,
Alta (& Keith) were long-term, devoted members of Indianola Church of Christ before my wife and I joined. We are grateful for the years of service to our church family and community. She will be missed! May God grant you peace and grace during this time of loss. Pat Payne and family, Gahanna, Oh

Saying that I loved caring for Alta is an understatement. She was the one who made getting up at 5:00am for work worth it! I'll never forget the conversations or many times we sang together. She was an amazing woman of God and she will be greatly missed by me and everyone else at Emeritus. Alta will forever be in my heart.
