Dear Michael, Barbara and family - my condolences to you on the passing of your dear mother. I met Althea at the Center of Jesus the Lord in the 70's and she was a person who could indelibly leave her mark on your memory. She inspired confidence and was so easy to talk to. We all will dearly miss our wonderful friend, Althea, and I send my prayers and condolences to all the family who took care of her so tenderly in these last difficult months. I think it was so appropriate that she died on All Saints Day... truly she was a most loving and caring person who reached out to everyone, including me when I first moved to New Orleans. I feel so blessed to have known her. May all of you be comforted deeply... and be blessed by the warm memories of her love.
