Althree Moody Hughes, 87, beloved mother, grandmother and entrepreneur, entered rest Sunday, June 21, 2015. Funeral: 11 a.m. Saturday in the chapel at historic Baker Funeral Home. Interment: Cedar Hill. Visitation: 1 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, with wake 7 to 8 p.m. Althree Hughes was born Dec. 18, 1927, to Louis and Cornelia Moody. Her husband, Roger Hughes Jr.; son, Roger Hughes III; and brother, Louis Moody Jr., preceded her in death. Survivors: She is cherished in memory by her children, Althree Renee Gordon (Joe), Phyllis Mitchell, Hazel Hughes Carpenter (Ronald) and Howard Hughes; six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; other family members; and friends.
