After college when I first started substitute teaching Al wanted me as his "perma-sub" as he had a lot of other educational commitments he was involved in and was going to be out of the classroom periodically. He wanted a consistent sub for the students. Him asking for me/Mr. Otto saying yes allowed me to really start to hone my skills as a teacher early on. A thoughtful man. He´ll be missed.

Very sorry to hear. I had Mr Bushman as my third grade teacher. He was probably my favorite teacher I ever had. Always encouraged me. Got my love of math from him. He was super well liked among all the students just a solid teacher and nice person all around. I'm honored to have had him be my teacher. My condolences to the family.
