Not sure what to say?

So sorry to read this. Al was a wonderful friend when I lived in Bismarck, a great running partner, and an all-around good guy. I spent many nights tagging along with Al and Jack Lynch going to basketball or football games they officiated, reporting for the Tribune. He was the best.

Brad, so sorry to hear about the loss of your dad! He was always so kind to me when I was your parents paper girl back in the early 80´s. Prayers to you and your family!

Elton was such a warm and gracious man. I worked at the front desk and Alton would come into the YMCA so regularly and I felt drawn to his gentle nature and warm greetings. I miss seeing him.

Al was one of the nicest guys in our class and he married one of the kindest, sweetest girls in our class, I can´t imagine how deep the grief of Angie and the family must be. I pray that God will bring you some comfort.

I can´t thank Al Lick enough for the environment he created for our 9th grade basketball team so many years ago. He taught us the fundamentals we needed to learn and he made sure we understood what hard work, discipline and effort were all about. So many fond memories and so thankful and grateful what Coach Lick did for me and others. Tom Petrik

With our six sons active in sports and knowing Al it was a great time.

Al and I were friends at BJC and Dickinson State. As well as being a skilled athlete, he was a gentleman and good student and well-liked by all his classmates. We lost touch in later years but I thought of Al often and was confident that he would add quality to the lives of those whose life he touched. May Al Rest in Peace.
