Alva will always hold a special place in my heart and memories. Walking into her apt was like walking into a home full of love. Alva was full of life with her loud voice and the way she passionately stood up for whatever she thought was right. Whenever I would say hi to Alva she would tell whoever was sitting with her that I was her first aide when she and Herb moved to Luther Ridge, she always made me feel special. I am blessed to meet such a wonderful person I am going to miss Alva so much but one thing I will always keep in my heart is her smiling face and the memories that I had when caring for her we had some good moments together I will miss her ... Aunt Alva, You will be missed by so many. I will miss those great family picnics and talking about the Red Sox & defending them lol. You were the most dedicated Red Sox fan I knew.
