Alva was born on January 7, 1921 and passed away on Friday, July 20, 2018. Alva was a resident of Arnold, Missouri at the time of passing. Alva served his country proudly in the United States Army from 1944-1946 during WWII in the 5th infantry on the front line. Visitation will be at Hurricane Fork General Baptist Church in Marble Hill, Missouri; on Tuesday, July 24, 2018 from 10:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. Funeral Services will be conducted 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, July 24, 2018 at Hurricane Fork General Baptist Church in Marble Hill, MO., with Rev. David Jordan officiating. Interment will be in the Hurricane Fork Cemetery near Marble Hill, MO.
