CASTOR, LA – Funeral services for Alvalene Foster, 83, of Castor, LA will be held Monday, November 28, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. in Rockett Funeral Home Chapel, Ringgold, LA. Officiating will be Rev. Huey White. Burial will follow in Ebenezer Cemetery, Castor, LA. Visitation will be Sunday, November 27, 2016 at Rockett Funeral Home, Ringgold, LA from 2:00 – 4:00 P.M.
Mrs. Alvalene was born July 23, 1933 in Trenton, TN and passed away November 25, 2016 in Bossier City, LA.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Alvah and Lenora Morrison; husband, L. T. Foster; special brother-in-law, J. R. Foster; grandchildren, Phillip Carter and Peggy Longshore; brothers, James, Earl, Delma and Ray Morrison; and sisters Florine Stroud, Helen Fickey, and Lucille Farris.
Left to cherish her memory include her sisters, Frances Morrison of Shreveport, LA and Merline Williams of Walburg, TX; special nieces that was devoted to her and took care of her, Judie Wallingsford and Debbie Nichols; granddaughter-in-law, Sherrie Carter;3 great grandchildren. several other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
