Alvey J. Moore

I'm so sorry that I didn't know about Alvey's passing until yesterday, Sept. 2. He was my husband's cousin and they never met in person but kept in touch by mail and then email since the 1970s. Hilip always thought one day we would travel to see Alvey and Dot--would have loved that! He was a very sweet man and a good friend to my husband, who passed away in 2020 from Alzheimer's complications. I didn't find out until today that Alvey had passed. I can't express how sorry I am for your family's loss. Alvey was one of my dad's favorite cousins to talk to. Even though they never got to see each other. They shared a love of talking about their family history. Something I share with them both. I'd like to think Dad and Alvey are finally getting to see each other up in heaven along with their other family members who went before them. Prayers for your family.

My sincere condolences to Alvey's family. I am glad I got to know Alvey via St. Jude Parish in Monroe. What a sweet man. I enjoyed our conversations for the past couple of years. May he be with God and "Dottie" this day in God's Kingdom.
