My heart is breaking over this. I hate to say that I can't even remember the last time that I saw Gene. But I know that I will never forget his smile & his sense of humor. He was a wonderful person. My prayers are with the family. May God bless your hearts.

I don't know were to start. Gene Morris is a friend that will be miss. We had alot of good times. It is still hard to believe that I will not run into him in town. My prayers will be with his family. We loved him very much. I hope his son knows what a great dad he had. He was a proud father.

There is hole in the world where you once were. Your spirit brightened everyones day. Your smile was a beacon to let us all know that you could be trusted as a true friend, no matter how close, it was respected. Your advice was so often taken to heart, especially for me of late, and I never had a chance to thank you. What wonderful memories I have of Gene Morris. Every time we reconnected, we smiled and laughed like time had never went by. I am terribly hurt to know I won't be running into you anymore...at least for now. May God be with your family and precious child during this time.

The bug guy came today and it wasn't you. I knew that it wouldn't be, but it didn't make it any easier seeing him instead of you. I still can't believe that you are gone.

I will miss seeing you and listening to your stories. Man, were you a proud daddy! But it's your laugh and your infectious smile that I will miss the most. I always thought of you like a big brother, Gene and I will miss you dearly.

I will always remember Gene with that great smile. It was the kind of smile that could relay a 1000 different thoughts. Gene - you will be missed by all! My thoughts and prayers are with your family.

When I think of Gene I smile, because he always brought a smile to everyone's face he spoke to or saw. He was like a big teddy bear that you felt better after giving a him a hug.
