Not sure what to say?

I miss my days talking and playing croquet in North Carolina . He was a true friend and a confidant. I had a lump in my breast, came up rather quickly and I was concerned. I had an appointment at Mayo . I talk w Al about it . He said I´d be fine and don´t worry about it . I said Al , how do you know ? He said TRUST ME ! A few weeks later I went to Mayo , had it checked out and it was a benign tumor and was told don´t worry about it. It has since disappeared. Al was right ! He was always...

May the love of friends and family and the gospel hope in Christ carry you through your grief.

Mr. Alsobrook was a fine gentleman and a real leader in civic affairs. I enjoyed his friendship immensely.

My thoughts and prayers are with Al's family. I first met him when I was 5 years old and have been in contact on and off over the years, I have always held him in high regard and followed some of his trail blazing ideas in the Florida legislature. But most of all, he was part of an extended family, that I looked up to in my childhood, and this admiration had continued over 75 years. I know the family must be very proud of him.

Al was the engine that got the guys together for Wednesday lunches for years at Country Club of Sapphire Valley — Comraderie that made Wednesdays in the summers special for us all.
His emails had his trademark of the top half of a gator’s head floating in water while stalking its prey. Pretty intimidating if you’re an LSU Tiger.
He was every body’s buddy and will be missed.

Al was a man of such integrity, brilliance, and caring, and I never saw him when he was ‘t smiling and engaged - such a joy to be with! A good mutual friend and I shared the same October 3 birthday. We often talked about celebrating together. How I deeply regret that we never made that happen! Al will be deeply missed by everyone who was fortunate enough to know him. In the midst of such sadness, comfort comes in Knowing that Al is now at peace with our Lord and Savior in heaven.

Al was the epitome of 'the' perfect gentleman!. He was witty, knowledgeable, kind, and caring..and, one heck of a croquet player! After reading Al's obituary, it is evident he excelled at everything!! We adore Betty and loved AL equally. I can't imagine being on the croquet court without AL. He is in now in the arms of our loving Lord. Stay strong Betty. Our arms are around you. Beverly and John Monaco

Al is a human treasure. Nearly 50 years a friend and fraternity brother, his memory will always remain. Peace be with you brother.
