Alvin S. Bogart

Al was the driving force behind the CFP program at Bergen Community College and changed my life for the better. He will be greatly missed.

As a youngster I remember visiting Al Bogart and his family with my parents. How impressed I was that he graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy.

After reading stories about Al forwarded by family members following his passing, I was incredulous at the extent of his talents, ingenuity, intellect and problem solving ability. His family was so fortunate to have had him in their lives. His influence extends well beyond them and to the many students he taught over the decades.

The loss of a love one is difficult. May the precious memories you have help you cope and bring you peace. 1 Thessalonians 4:14 can bring you some comfort knowing that there is a future for the ones we have lost in death. May the God of peace be with you and your family.

We only knew Al for a few short months but in that time he became a very important part of our lives. We are honored to have him consider us to be good friends. He will be missed and his memory WILL be for a blessing. Our hearts go out to his wonderful family.
