Not sure what to say?

I am sorry for your loss. I was Al´s surgery assistant in Vietnam.

I was so sad to hear about my brother Alvin´s passing. I loved him very much and will greatly miss him. Alvin was a kind, thoughtful person with a calm demeanor. I will especially cherish the time I spent with Alvin and Elissa at their home in Manlius walking their dog Missey through their lovely neighborhood and meeting their neighbors who were all good friends. I will miss Alvin always.

Dearest Elissa, Shelli & Susan, I am heartbroken to hear of the loss of your wonderful husband and father. He was such a kind, loving man who will be sorely missed.

Elissa, Susan, and Shelli, we were so very sorry to hear of Alvin's passing. We remember meeting your family in Tulsa. Condolences to all. Carol and Bill Nelson

Alvin was a very good son, brother and a very loving husband, father and grandfather. Alvin and I had parallel paths in our adulthood and we were very close and communicated frequently. In April of this year, my wife Ellen and I had the pleasure of visiting with Alvin, Elissa and Shelli and her family. He was such a remarkable person, and his kindness and warmth touched the lives of so many. May the memories of your father bring you comfort and peace. Extending my deepest sympathies for the loss of your father.

Dear Elissa, I am shocked to hear of Al´s passing. You are in my thoughts and prayers and I send you a big hug. We have loved chatting with Al on his walks and have fond memories of the two of you at holiday parties. We are sorry to miss his services. Wendy and Michael Thomas

Sending Heartfelt Sympathy to the Bregman Family. Over the years I have enjoyed many conversations with Dr. and the Mrs. He will be deeply missed.

Alvin, may you rest in peace. "Alvin", not Al brings back memories of the many adventures we shared over multiple summers. You always amazed me with the latest riddles and rhymes. You will truly be missed. Ivan Waldman and Myra Schneider
