Not sure what to say?

Thirteen years . . . still the teacher who had the most impact on my own teaching (law school & medical school) and whose memory is my most valued. RIP, Mr. Brown.

Mr. Brown was a great teacher -- the only one who ever taught me things I still think about to this day. RIP, and thanks for your service on the battlefields and in the classrooms.

I'm sorry to hear Coach Brown has passed away. I remember him as an opposing Little League Coach who went out of his way to both encourage and complement an 11-year old second baseman (me) on the other team.

Alvin Brown was my 9th-grade English teacher at Kiley JHS the first year that school was open. Over the years, he has been my inspiration as a teacher. He was fearless and unflinchingly honest in the classroom, and I don't think I'd ever before seen a teacher who approached teaching as an exercise in applied ethics. His class happened to be the one I was in at 2:15pm on Nov. 22, 1963, when a godawful announcement went out over the school's PA system, so his class is emblazoned in my memory...

I'am so sorry for your loss. I met your parents many years ago when your mother sold my in-law there home on carrage dr. in somers.they were a delight to know.

Rest in Peace Mr. Brown - Thank you for your WWII service keeping America free.
