Alvin C. Bush

I met and worked with Al Bush while on staff with the Independent Regulatory Review Commission. He served as a Commissioner and for a period of time as our Chairman. A kind, thoughtful man with broad experience in government that we all could learn from. Whether it was a discussion of issues before the Commission or a personal conversation, it was always a benefit to hear this thoughts. Mary Lou Harris

Dear Charlie! Was sad today to read about your dads passing. Not sure if you remember me when I worked for your dad in the senate. I spoke mostly to you and mike during those days. Your dad is one of the finest men I have ever known. Also one of the smartest! I loved him very much! He was like a dad to me! I also know how proud he was of his children and grandchildren. Last time I spoke to him he moved to williamsport and told me how williamsport was booming and you kids were now his friends...

What a wonderful man! He was my very first boss when I worked for Henry Hager. Soon after I was hired he called me into his office and sat me down and told me I needed to slow down!! He gave me a small wood carved turtle to remind me. I have it still today. Rest in Peace dear man.
