Well, it's Memorial Day weekend again.Time has flown by, yet stands still as we remember those special people and places in our lives who have passed through. We miss you so much Alvie. Sorry we missed your B-Day, things are rough around here right now. Leonard stopped his chemo and is feeling a little better for now.Don't know how this is all going to play out, just taking one day at a time. Anyway Alvie your are soooo missed. Love Jill and Leonard

This message was meant for May 23rd, but I failed to press the submit button when I wrote it yesterday. I am sharing a water color painting that Alvie did in eighth grade. He gave it to me when he was 14 or 15 and I was two years younger. It is amazing that it survived the years, the way the old photos did. Alvie did mention to me that he loved to scuba dive, and I know that he loved the ocean.
