Your nonjudgmental piety, example and ability to set a valued example and genuine concern made a huge difference in my life. Honestly. Alvin was a good friend of my brother Bob and that´s how I knew him. When I was working at Sardis in 1964 he gave me tickets to hear Ruggiero Ricci perform in Alice Tully Hall. It was an impetus to my love of good music.

I am very sorry to hear of Alvin's passing. I knew him from his time at Linden and Deutsch, when I worked for the firm's accountants. He was a very, very nice person and an outstanding lawyer, who will be missed. I extend my deepest sympathies to his family, friends, and colleagues. Elliot Hendler
