Dear Doctor family,

I am so sad to hear about the passing of my Dad's best friend Alvin. Even though our families moved apart many years ago, we thought of the entire family often and have great memories of our childhood together. Dad passed away 8 years ago. to Lindy and family, Even though I never met him personally, I do know his wonderful daughters and have heard many stories through Lindy. May God send His angels to comfort you in your time of grief. He was a blessed man to have so big a circle of family and friends. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

I am so sorry to hear about your loss. I know you all loved him dearly. I used to love coming over for your BBQ's and sitting with your dad and listening to his stories. They were never-ending. His family was his life and he was proud of all of you. The look on his face told all. You will always have the memories to keep him with you.

Its been a very long time since I've seen or spoke to Al, but I've never forgotten him. He was a great guy, with a great family. I know he will be missed. I'm so sorry for your loss.

I'm very sorry to learn of your father's/husband's passing. I remember him as a gruff, but amusing man, who always seemed to have a story to tell. He was a neat guy, and I hope the many memories you have of him will be a comfort to you during this sorrowful time. My prayers are with you.
