Grandpa was not only a good role model, a true inspiration and a great listener, but he was a great grandfather as well. He always seemed to know exactly what to say, and that is one of the most admirable qualities anyone can have. I loved Grandpa very much and I always will.

Al was a long time member of the Landon Tennis Club. He was a wonderful doubles partner and a good friend on and off the court. When playing against him in singles, I felt as though I had run several miles before a set had ended. He wore me out with endless drop shots and lobs. Needless to say, he always won. Al's pleasing pesonality won for him many friends, I am glad that I was one of them.

Al Golub was a lifelong friend. I was very blessed to meet/know him and to work for/with him at the EEOC, beginning in the mid-seventies. He was a wonderful public servant, leader and teacher. He had a marvelous sense of humor, a quick wit. He was a shining light -- always with you through good times and bad; always a man of enormous compassion; always willing to lend a hand; always willing to listen; and, always a wise counselor.
