Alvin, an amazing gentleman, with a gentle soul, creative, thoughtful, compassionate and a dear friend to all who were fortunate to cross his path. Alvin left a clear, deep, precious mark on all of our souls.... Thank you Alvin!

I remember Alvin from days long past in Potsdam new York. We moved there from the other one New York in 1975 and I was just beginning college and enjoying the Potsdam Market Street yahoo time. Another time, another place, old friend. A greater joy of living I´ve really not seen. Any one who knew him was the luckier for it.

I have had the privilege and honor of knowing Alvin for 39 years. He was an exceptional individual with a big heart, strong work ethic and unwavering moral compass. He was also the consummate entertainer who could always amuse and bring out a smile. Alvin will be sorely missed by his friends, associates and the community in which he lived. Thank you Alvin
