Uncle Al was a treasure. I (His niece's husband) met him when he came out to CA for his sister's (my future mother in law) wedding in 1978. You couldn't forget AL. He wore loud, colorful clothes and had an ebullent personality. He walked Esther down the aisle and gave her away at the wedding.
