Ivy, Al was one of those personalities one never forgets. We spent lots of time chatting over coffee when I worked with him at Sullivan Photo way back in the 60's. I also remember you both from church and loved it when your three little boys would come into the store. Al had a big, sentimental heart. Thinking of you. You know he is in a good place now. Fond memories of Al from the genealogists around the state. We were blessed with his presence even this last year in October when he came again to our State Conference. He will be missed, but how fortunate we were to have known him.

Having only met Alvin one time at the last DAR State Convention in Helena, I was impressed with his friendly nature and pride of Ivy's work in DAR. I'm happy to have met him.

I will never forget Al. He never was without that smile and ready laugh. He whispered in my ear during the receiving line at my wedding--saying just the right thing. It was a sentiment that I will forever cherish. Al was like that. I feel honored to have known him. He will be greatly missed.
