Not sure what to say?

Alvin was so dedicated in saving the old parts of Norfolk and helping people with their restoration projects. He was so very knowledgeable about antiques and I am sure he is an angle in Heaven now. My deepest condolences to his son and family. RIP Alvin and you are so missed.

Wow will mess you country boy....

Alvin was the most interesting and kind person I truly miss seeing him at his shop and our long conversations about just about anything. We shared our love for collectibles and I learned so much from him. I unfortunately haven't seen or spoke to him in years and just found out about his passing. We truly have lost an angel and I will miss him so much. RIP my dear sweet forever friend I loved you dearly.

Alvin, you made such a difference to me and to Norfolk. With love and gratitude.

My condolences to your son and to the rest of your family.

RIP Alvin. We will miss you.

My Daughter and I found out about Alvin on Saturday. We are heartbroken and shocked that he is gone. He was a wonderful person. I bought many things from Alvin but more importantly, I had many conversations with him to know that he truly loved his work and could really tell you stories about Norfolk, history and the architecture in the city. I know he was really loved. Our condolences go out to the family. We will always remember him and he will truly be missed. Fortunately, we have some...

Alvin has helped me out many times over the years with projects. He cared about saving Norfolk history from the landfill with his architectural salvage. My condolences to his family and friends for their loss. He will be missed.
