Karen and Ellen, We were very sorry to read of your beloved father´s passing. The first time I met your parents and you both was in 1968, when we drove from Newport, RI through Huntsville, on our way to Mexico City. I was 6 years old but I remember my dear father, Ben, saying, we´re going to the Jupiters!! I was pretty excited. I treasure the years that my family and I spent with your father. He played the mandolin for us, watched movies together, and has plenty of laughs together. Just...

After I moved to sun towers the end of this March ....I would see Al every day riding around in his sharp looking silver scooter ......he would always say hello Laura ...and say something to make me laugh......we had lunch together in the dining room a few times and I now know his whole life history ...I loved hearing about all his endeavors....he had a very full and happy life he said many times ....my daughter had lunch with us once also and she found him to be a very .special honest funny...

Alvin was a wonderful cousin who I admired greatly. I will miss him, and send condolences to Karen and Ellen. May his memory be for a blessing.

I knew AL 40 years ago as I served with Sylvia in the USAR. Al was a pillar of the Huntsville community but we lost track of him and Sylvia when they retired to Costa Rica. Our deepest sympathy to his family Paul A. Michael
