I just saw this news :( When my Son was just 4 years old, Mr. Landy lent him his first motocross bike. A little Red Honda (& I think many other kids got their start on that bike). My family spent many a weekend at Coney Island & the Southside track and Mr. Landy was always there with a helping hand. He also knew my husband well and was very kind, prayed for me and with me when my husband passed away a couple of years ago. An interesting character that I will remember fondly. RIP Mr. Landy...

Landy family, it is with great regrets that I learned if Alvin's passing! My Dad, sister and I returned to Bermuda for the Emancipation Holiday (Cup Match). We met Alvin in the Washington Mall looking for somewhere to have lunch. It was really good to see him after ten years away. We had a prayer right there. Alvin prayed! Bro. Alvin dedicated his life to serving God and our church family with great passion and commitment. He was a devoted prayer warrior who took all matters of God seriously. I am especially grateful for the way he supported my dad, Pastor Ronnie Smith. Every Sunday when he was on the island, Bro. Alvin would stand outside my dad´s office, ensuring he wasn´t disturbed before the service, and he was always praying for him. I take comfort in knowing that Bro. Alvin is now resting in God´s eternal...
