Not sure what to say?

Marlene, So sorry to hear of Al's illness and passing. Just got a note from Dolores. Will have a Mass said for the repose of his soul. L&P Marge Batkoski Kitchen.

Al had a special place in my heart. I will always remember him. Marlene.....my deepest condolences and prayers to you and your family. I enjoyed being able to play a small role in his life. Al.....I promise to "keep it in the short grass".

Mrs. Luplow, I'm so sorry to hear that Al passed away. You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers.

Brett, Cindy, and Leann,

Condolences to your family on the passing of your Dad. Young childhood memories last a lifetime and many of mine were spent at your house growing up. Your Dad and Mom always made me feel welcome and I look back fondly at all the active and fun times.

So many memories of when we were kids.my favorite is the two of us trying to learn how to dance in aunt June's dining room on Jefferson.we were both blitzes.

Mrs. Luplow, Bret, Cindy and Leann, so sorry to hear the passing of Mr. Luplow. He was a special man who made a positive impact on several people (me included) throughout his life. I enjoyed the many times talking sports with him and seeking his advice to help me develop my athletic skills. He was a very humble man, as never really new how great a football/baseball player until the internet. He always treated me kindly. You are in my prayers.

RIP Al.....we shared a lot of great conversations on golf, baseball and many other topics at the YMCA. I remember my youngest daughter Jodi who worked at Maple Hill Golf Club for the summer commenting "I met Mr Luplow today what a very nice man"...you will be missed.

I met Al at Maple Hill Golf Course. He was a very nice man. What sticks in my mind about Al is how hard he worked on his golf game. Before and after a round, Al could be seen on the driving range or putting green, always trying to improve. He loved to compete.

Saginaw lost a great guy!

I knew Al from his coaching with the Means Stamping baseball team. I umpired many of their games. Al was always friendly, polite and a gentleman. No one would have suspected, from his attitude, that he was a former major league player. A really nice man. Condolences to his family.
