Not sure what to say?

Al, I will never forget how you always had first base covered during your years at Olivet! I always enjoyed seeing you play and found you to be a very kind person. May you rest in peace.

Kathy Needham

I often think of the days gone by when I played baseball at Olivet with some of the best friends I ever had. I remember the times at the Frat house on the third floor when Al, Cliff, Rabbi, and I would solve the world’s problems. I could always rely on Al at first base never letting me down when I was pitching. I will miss you old buddy may you RIP! Fraternity yours,

There is a sad silence when we look back at all Mr. Martus has meant to each of us during our time at Goodrich. He was an inspiration, a mentor, a coach, a leader and a man who encouraged us to be the best we could be. His legacy will live on in the hearts of those of us who knew him.

You and your family are in my prayers and thoughts.

I am thankful for all of the things Mr. Martus did for our community. He was a great man and I was fortunate to know him.

Was a teammate of Al's at Olivet College....a classy young man. Rest in peace.

Al,

all I can say is that, "You were the MAN!!!" Unfortunately it took a tradegy for our pathes to cross. But out of the tradegy came a great friendship that I will always cherish. I feel truly lucky to have called you "friend".

we could never thank Al enough for all the support and guidence he gave myself and my kids. We will miss him dearly!

Celebrating a life well lived. We will cherish the memories forever.
