Dr. Alvin MacKenzie was my orthopedic surgeon at the Glenrose & Royal Alex from 1964 to 1988. A Doctor of the old school. He was always great with Patients. His receptionist Nancy was with him for over 4 decades.

My belated but very heartfelt condolences to Dr. McKenzie's family and friends. I am glad I had the opportunity to visit him in the hospital to tell him of my successful right hip replacement that he set in motion, to bring him yellow roses and an abstract card, to thank him for being the best doctor I ever had for 40 years and also a friend of my family (Ewen) and my relatives (Conradi) and to snatched the moment to kiss him on the cheek.
