Not sure what to say?

Great memories of listening to Mr. Powers when I was a kid growing up in Mtn. Home. Nothing like listening to the Tiger football and basketball teams on KFLI when I was too young to drive to the games or play them myself. He was the Paul J. of Mtn. Home Sports. God bless Alvin and his family.

Condolensces from Gene, Mollie, Monroe and Mairin Petty to Matt, Amber, Ellie, and Lainey and whole family. What a wonderful father, husband, grandpa, and citizen!

To the Powers family, I extend my prayers especially for you that I know personally, Deloris, Leon and Leona, and Connie and all of the rest. I remember Alvin as your little brother when you attended the church my mother pastored. God's comfort and blessings to all of you,

Extending my sincere condolences to the Powers family for the deep loss you must be feeling. How sad to lose someone so loved and so needed. May you find comfort in prayer and in the love you have for one another.
Psalm 66:19,20

We remember and miss you, Alvin.

I remember mostly the bus trips we took together, traveling to a Glenns Ferry Basketball game or weekend of them, and singing "Love Potion Number Nine". He was so non-judgmental and open to friendships with everybody, and because of this was everybody's friend and counselor. The world and Mountain Home and Glenns Ferry should always remember, and never forget, the Love and friendship he gave and how rare a person Alvin was, there among us! David Gabert

May God bless and keep you in this time of sorrow. I feel for all of you and exspecially you Connie losing your mate. You are in my prayers and thoughts at this time of need.
Love you,
Evelyn Felty

My Deepest Sympathy, Connie, Audrey, Chris & children, and Amber, Matt & girls. He is now TCB in Heaven! ❤
