Alvin Pruitt, Sr. age 89 went to be with the Lord August 13, 2016. Funeral Services will be held 12:00 Noon. Saturday, August 20, 2016 at Ebenezer UMC, 7312 N. Main St. 77022. Visitation will be prior to services beginning at 10:00 AM. Interment: Houston National Cemetery Monday, August 22, 2016, 9:00 AM.

My deepest condolences to the Pruitt family for your loss. Mr. and Mrs. Pruitt were friends of my late aunt Fannie Paley-Hart. And in the late '70's, they were my landlords when I lived at 4302 Delhi at Barkley. When I moved away, the Pre-School/Daycare was born. Mr. Alvin and Ms. Orene will always be special in my heart. Rest in heavenly peace. I'll see you both on the other side.

Mr. Pruitt will be truly missed. I can appreciate him for taking great care of my son as he would pick him up from school and deliver him home safely until he wasn't able to do it anymore. He was a very quiet person and always cared about others. My condolences to the family from the Townsend family.
