Not sure what to say?

I am John Hale, and I presently live in Williamsburg, Virginia. My wife is Billie Sue GALE who descends the GALE family of Isle of Wight County, Virginia. When we were living in Northern Virginia, I made several day trips to the Isle of Wight County Clerk’s Office to research my wife’s GALE family. On one of those trips in 1997, by chance, I met Alvin Reynolds in the Clerk’s Office. He asked what I was researching, and I told him the GALE family, and in particular, Fannie Gale, on whom we...

My deepest condolences to the family of Alvin Reynolds. I met Alvin through TGS and the bus trips and over the years we came good friends. Alvin's laughter, humor and our conversions together will be deeply missed. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

The entire Hassell family wishes to express its deepest sympathy to the Reynolds family on the loss of Alvin Parker. We cherish the memories of living next door to Parker, Leslie, AP, Jack, and Scotty. Battery Park during the 70's was truly a magical place to grow up. Our thoughts and our prayers are with you all and we know that only time will heal your hearts. May God bless each and every one of you.

Alvin was a good friend and will be missed. He had a great many friends at the TGS and VBGS, mostly I think, because he was a great friend to all.

It seems like just yesterday that I was helping him learn, and solve computer genealogical programs and helping solve computer problems...but were do the years go...that wasn't yesterday, that was 1983 or 84. I will miss you old friend.

Jack and Cora,
My deepest sympathy to you. Alvin was a great friend to all that knew him. He will surely be missed.

My sympathy to Alvin's family and friends. I will miss his friendly personality, thoughtfulness and sense of humor organizing the TGS bus trips as well as his genealogical expertise.

Alvin will be missed dearly. He always had a bright smile and made our day happy everytime we saw him at 7-11. We will miss his laugh and we will miss him very much. He was such a great friend.
