Not sure what to say?

Our sincere condolences to the family of Col. Rousse. My husband Sidney and I met him through my father, Herbie Higgins. Over the years, he became our customer and also a great friend. We could always count on him to lift our spirits with his wonderful stories and jokes. He will be missed.
Darlene(Higgins) and Sidney LeJeune

Alvin and I were friends for the last 30 years. First with Civil Air Patrol and most recently with the Quiet Birdmen. Alvin's story and sparkling wit will be missed at the QB Hangar. God speed on your journey "West".

We wish to express our heartfelt sympathy to Alvin's family. We will always remember Alvin fondly as a dear friend to our whole family. He was a special man who always thought of others before himself. We were so fortunate to have him in our lives. May he rest in peace.

Alvin, to all a true gentleman, a kind devoted friend, to us an inspiration and a mentor. Will always appreciate his encouragement toward our becoming more involved with attending insurance meetings and conventions. It was a great benefit toward our overall success. A big thanks is in order as we fondly send our condolences to the family. Linda Walker and Bonnie Hodges

Al will be missed by his many friends at the Gatehouse Apts. We enjoyed the stories he told and his kind and gentle manner. I am also grateful for his service to his country and will remember him wearing his flight suit. While others called him Al, I always called him Colonel.

I offer my condolences to his family and friends, but I celebrate his passing because of my faith in Jesus and thus will not mourn for Al but will always remember the Colonel.

Psalm 37:39

Col. Rousee will be missed by his friends at the Gatehouse Apartments.

I enjoyed our talks and thank you for your service to our country.

Robert,

Our sympathy to you and your family. Your dad has been our neighbor at the Gatehouse for a couple of years, and it was always nice to see and chat with him about old times and Gentilly Woods.

May the Lord grant you peace and comfort.

My mom, sisters, and I always looked forward to hearing his funny stories at church and when we'd run into him at Morning Call eating beignets. He always made us feel special, and we will never forget him.
