Not sure what to say?

Dear Mrs. Vitt:
I don't know if Al ever mentioned me to you and/or to your children, but we were very good and dear friends from way way back, from those so far away days when we were together at Notre Dame...

Some months ago, we came back in touch again, thanks to this wonder of Internet, and ever since then, we corresponded very frequently. The last time we exchanged emails was at the beginning of this very same month, a couple of weeks ago. Never did he mention to me...

Dear Veronique, our deepest sympathy to you in losing your dearest Al, who bought you the most beautiful property, which included a pig in a pink tutu, in all of Missouri for a wedding gift. I had just seen and spoken with Al at the last Town and Country Board of Alderman meeting. He was his usual charming, beloved self. Mariette

Dear Family of Mr. Vitt - I work at USBank in the beautiful Chapel HIll Building - This morning it was so sad to come into work and realize I was not going to see him any more. We used to share "Alex" when he came in with him and he was always smiling - Such a wonderful gift to give to others - that smile and friendliness - God Bless You All - we will miss him. The Good Lord must have needed someone to "work the room" and there was none better than Al...He touched so many lives in a positive way and was a great Real Estate Entrepreneur

Al was a friend for many years and was a capable Realtor. I recomended Al to join the Bd of Dir of Roosevelt Federsl Savings and Loan back in the 70s. I will miss his friendship. I wish to extend my sympathy to his wife and family.

We are deeply saddened by Al's death. He was a wonderful neighbor and friend. Our deepest sympathy goes to Veronique and his family

Al will be greatly missed by the lives he has touched. I met Al through Veronique. Many times he would visit with the Mahj group while we played. He always had a smile on his face and a great sense of humor... and I sure will miss him. My sympathy goes out to Veronique and his family at this difficult time.

Al will be lovingly missed by all his Classmates/friends from the Notre Dame Class of 1956. He was a Class leader in his days under the Dome at Notre Dame, and remained a caring and compassionate friend throughout the almost 50 years since ...

I wish to extend my deepest sympathy to the family of Al Vitt. May the Lord comfort you in your time of sorrow. I only worked for Mr. Vitt for a short period of time, but I know he has many friends and loved ones who will miss him deeply.
