Alvin Spencer Walker

Missing my friend! I was so happy to reconnect with Alvin a few years ago after so many funny times together in Junior High. I still have some drawings in storage from back then that he was looking forward to seeing. My heart feels broken. I´m sad that the world is missing such a talented, funny, and wonderful person. I wish he was still here.

My sincerest condolences to the Walker family. I considered Alvin my younger big musical Brother. I love him and miss him dearly.

My sincere condolences to Alvin's family. He was the sweetest person, and will be greatly missed by his jazz colleagues. It was always great to see him out at a gig. I will remember Alvin very fondly, and miss seeing him in jazz clubs.

My heart goes out to Mr. Walker, Ms. Sonia, and Calvin and your family. Alvin was a brother to me, having met him at All-State Jazz in high school. Our friendship lasted 30+ years and I am honored to have known such a beautiful human being. May he rest in peace.
