William and family, I was sorry to hear about Mrs. Stepter. I was one of her student. She taught me in fourth grade at Archer. She was always so pleasant. I wish we had more like her.

Cousin Stepter was a joy and great friend to my mother Kass. They loved to send birthday and holiday cards to each other from their cats and dogs! She will truly be missed by us all. What a beautiful, loving job all of you did for and with her.

No words can express the loss or sorrow we feel at this time. Ms. Stepter was an amazing woman who influenced all our lives. We will always remember her as a loving and kind person.

All the names you were called out of your Mother's love. Ms Alvena was a Virtuous Woman. The characteristics which she portrayed included; hardworking, wise, resourceful, noble, faithful, gentle charitable. As a neighbor during my childhood I saw all of these characteristics in her.
