Read MoreI knew Alwood as a friend of Bill's for easily 20 years. He was such a kind soul. He always tried to be happy and kind. And he was so good at keeping things simple. I am sorry the end of his life was hard. But his spirit remained and he left a lot of people behind who will always remember him. RIP, my friend. You live on in our hearts.

We met Alwood through our work at Hilltop Pharmacy and enjoyed his sense of humor.He would always say to my husband" Kenny, I'm getting older and that's good isn't it". We gave him a bed one time and he was so appreciative. We had lost track after our retirement but often thought of him and how he was doing. We are sorry to hear of his passing but are glad to know he is at peace now. He & Lars are laid to rest next to my parents Marge & Arnold. Our thoughts & prayers go out to his family.
