Not sure what to say?

I learned so much, while caring for Alyce. I still miss her. Rosie

Alyce's kindness will always be remembered.
Our condolences to Thayer, North, Sally and their families.

To Alyce's Family
She was a wonderful guiding light to many of us who shared her passion for Doernbecher and the children who were helped there. We appreciated her opinion and it helped shape our board and the leaders who followed. Thank you for sharing her with us.

Over the years, we enjoyed many a Christmas day festivity with Alyce and the Willis family. Being golf fanatics, she shared quite a few stories with us about her time at Augusta National, how she met Julian, and how she worked for and with, the infamous Bobby Jones. Over the last 15 years, we were graced with Masters tickets from Alyce, Jon and Thayer. The experience is something none of us will ever forget. Sharing the family in Augusta, the tradition, and the absolute pleasure of being...

Dear Thayer & Family - When I retired from teaching I had the pleasure of playing bridge against Alyce at the Town Club. She was a friend of my mother because they both loved bridge, reading, and their hairdresser, Alice. They would often share books and one day mom asked me if I thought it would be alright for her to share the book, "The Help". Alyce read it and immediately informed all her "southern" friends that they should absolutely read it. Your wonderful mom...what a force! Betsy

Such a wonderful lady. So impressed with all her accomplishments. Love to all! Joan Sydnor

Alyce was large in our lives, a friend, a mentor, a role model. We are sorry and saddened to be out of the US at the time of her passing and, particularly, her memorial service. Out thoughts
turn to Thayer, North, and Sally and we wish that we could be present to show our affection and respect for them, as well.
