To my Dear Aunt Alyce, You know how much I loved you, you and Aunt Dolly always showed us kids a great time, Christmas Caroling, chinese firedrills (that was a blast), singing eveything (I kind of thought of us as the SOUND OF MUSIC family), all the weekends I spent at your house, watching Saturday Night Live, or just talking to you on the phone, but mostly all the jokes and laughter. What an interesting person Mom was. She had many talents: sewing her own clothes, custom wedding dresses & square dancing outfits, painting incredible oil paintings, & playing many musical instruments.
She loved the LORD & always was firmly planted in his word. We never had any money, but GOD blessed us with everything we needed. Mom would work cleaning the church to send us girls to Christian School & she would take us to many different churches in the KC area to allow us to hear many...
