Our condolences to Dave and the extended Smith family. Alyce was a wonderful woman and it was always a delight to see her. She had been a very positive force in the community and will be missed.

My dear Dave, though we did not see each other often of late, I was always glad to think of Alyce being in this world with us. It's a comfort to know that there are good people like you and Alyce.

Alyce and Dave were the faculty leaders of my UWSP trip abroad to Poland. They were both wonderful. Alyce was fun, kind, caring and very laid back with all of us wild students. She maintained contact with me for many years. I have thought of her often and send my sympathy to Dave and family.
