Not sure what to say?

May her memory be for a blessing...Mark and Vivian

Zichronah le'vrachah. We remember Alys with great affection. Mark and Vivian

Ten years! Alaiha ha-sholem! We remember her with nostalgia and affection. Mark and Vivian

Another very happy memory: Allie's special birthday lunch at one of her favorite restaurants in St. Paul. Could it have been her 90th birthday? Anyway, we met your aunts and uncles, cousins, and friends you'd talked about for years. We even met a celebrity of sorts: Dear Abby's mother-in-law. Thanks for including us! Mark, Viv, and the Boys

Dear Paula, Karen and Neil:
Here are some memories of Allie that I cherish: 1995: My friend Gerhard and I were driving cross country and stopped and saw Alys. She insisted upon driving us on a tour of her city. The sights were memorable, but even more memorable was her driving: Alys was heavy on the gas pedal! 1998: You and she came to Hilton Head to celebrate Andrew's bar mitzvah birthday. Karen, Neil, Paula and Joni,

Francee and I want to say how sorry we are that Aunt Alys passed away. She was tough on the outside but a softy on the inside! We will always remember with the fondest of memories all the Holiday gatherings at your house on Howell, her straight talk and her unique way of driving (gas/coast/gas)! Oue hearts go out to you and we are so sorry we could not be with the family to celebrate her wonderful life.

We are comforted knowing she is...

Paula and I have been lifelong friends and I’ve often said I grew up as much in Aly’s kitchen as I did in my own Mother’s. During the service I thought of words that might best describe this remarkable woman; tolerant, accepting, patient and most of all loving. For those of us who knew Alys, loved her and were privileged to be close to her have...

On behalf of the staff at Courage Center, please accept our condolences on the loss of Alys. Our thoughts are with you during this difficult time.

Dear Neil, Joni, Paula, Karen, and Yarmo Family,

My sincere condolences on the loss of Alys. She was a kind, loving and very vivacious woman.

I will always remember the wonderful conversations we would have when I drove her home from Yarmo family dinners.

My thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time. I hope your wonderful memories will bring you peace.
