That Alyssa was one of the best things that ever happened to me.
My HS sweetheart showed me many things. One of which was the value of friendship before being in a relationship, and how important and powerful the two are especially combined.

NYC 3/2/21 - Hello. I periodically buy the Washington Post in NYC. I bought this newspaper today, and saw the "In Memoriam" notice concerning Alyssa. Amid all the distressing and sad news about the world, her radiant smile in the small photo was the most beautiful thing in the entire newspaper, and a source of hope for the future.
